New EPK at the Crossroads
How about that! I finally got around to setting up my press kit. In fact I set up an electronic press kit or EPK. It’s going to change a little but the content is there.

Green Screens and behind the scenes
Bunny is my little dog. She is seen here on the green screen cyclorama. Camera testing with animals is a fun yet trying experience. After getting Bunny to be comfortable on the cloth, we found out that she is so white on her chest that she was actually reflecting the green! This makes it almost impossible to do a proper composite background later in post production.
You see, the green will bleed the background video or image onto her body. Not the desired effect. So, turns out we will likely have to go with a blue screen to do any shots with her. Good thing our new screen will be blue!
We hope to share our video with Bunny in another acting video. Real soon I hope!

Sunrise
Sunrise is an event that tells us another day is upon us. From darkness lines and shapes form up until reality returns.
This morning something came before the sun to wake me. Rain.
The recent forest fires here in western Canada have taken their toll not only on thousands of hectares of forest, but also have spread a brown pall over the sky. The rain is extremely necessary to clean the air.
Maybe, just maybe, my eyes will stop burning soon… until then, this sliver of the sun peeking out between the strata of clouds is what I will share with you this fine Saturday morning.
