Talent Agency

In simple terms, a talent agency matches talent (aka actor, voice artist, musician, singer, etc) with a production (concert,  TV commercial, film, etc.). Since my return to Canada there has been so many things that I have had to either start again from scratch or find the equivalent services here, that I had back in Istanbul.

One important task was to find a talent agency to work together with, and after a year’s search, I am happy to announce that we have found each other. I say ‘we’ because it is a symbiotic relationship between the talent and the agent. We both benefit from the agreement. I can focus on the art that I provide, and the agent ensures we all make as much money as we can.

Besides that, the agent also ensures that the contract is properly written to protect the artist and the production. Of course, the agent wants someone who can perform! Well you all know that I have been working as a voice artist for many years and that my voice has been heard around the world many times over.

So, with all that said…

I’m pleased to announce that I will be represented by The Jeff Turner Film Group for my voice over work. In the big world of entertainment and film there are many factors to stay on top of your game. Now, I have a great ally that will take care of the business side of my work so I can now give 100% of my attention to the magic that I give to a voice script!

Episode 10 – Film and Soul

Episode 10 is where film and soul meet.

The first part of the show is about the Campbell River film industry and how the North Island College program is preparing the region. The second part of the episode is an interview with singer Dawn Pemberton.

Seasons Greetings and Welcome 2018

Well the end is near and 2017 has been quite a year. I was able to co-produce seven shows this year. Of course, with the best co-producers I have ever worked with. Not to mention the amazing guests supporters and sponsors.

The last week of the year on ShawTV is reserved for the yule log, special shows and events, so I get a week off! Well off air that is. The show usually airs throughout the two week rotation and then on YouTube from there, well, forever.

Although the show is off air, I’m still busy planning for 2018. I will however take this week to stay off social media and let the automated posts do their work. I may not interact with all you wonderful people during this week, however, I can always be reached via direct and private means. So we’re going to have to talk directly. Use the contacts page, messenger, iMessage, FaceTime, my phone number, my text number, and of course, by commenting on this post.

Lots of love, lots of peace, and many happy moments are what I wish for you all!

Love,

Martin @ the Crossroads . tv
