Thanks to you all, and for your support I am offering a special holiday treat!
Well the end of the year brings holiday greetings. Some celebrate the solstice and Saturnalia, some celebrate Chanukah, some Christmas. Some just celebrate because that is what we humans do on the shortest days of the year to award off cabin fever.
As a thank you to my guests, ShawTV, their staff and volunteers that make my show happen as well as all the people that have supported me along the way are welcome to a small party on December 20th. The location is for the first annual Crossroads winter party will be at Forbidden Brewing Company which is located at 1590 Cliffe Ave, Courtenay, BC.
The brewery can be found across the street from the new Thrifty’s and tucked away in the front parking lot of the Best Western Hotel. We will start around 3PM and go until the crowd dissipates. So drop on in for a few laughs, a look at some unseen promo ideas for the show and have your first beverage on me for all your support. There will be snacks and goodies too. Maybe even a few other treats. Just remember… Don’t Drink and Drive!
If you cannot make it call me up on FaceTime, WhatsApp, or Messenger. It would be great to see all your faces at the same time!
This year’s autumn weekends were just beautiful. I had the opportunity to get out to the parks in the region to have a look at the change in colours. There was no disappointment. The trees changed so slowly this fall and even within a day the trees had advanced to their inevitable barren winter sleep.
A sleep that regenerates the soil around them, warms their roots, and creates shelter for all the little creatures in the forest they share. I always enjoyed the fall. In fact, I believe it is the best season of all. Not too hot, not too cold, not too big, not too small. It is just right…
Well, this episode was fun. Media Relations Officer, Constable Rob Gardner was my guest for this show. What did I miss all these years? Find the show on ShawTV North Island & Powell River.
The show is now on YouTube! Have a watch from right here if you want!
Note: During the show Rob and I talked about an old training video. The link for it is here. I wanted to put some of it on the show however CBC wanted a lot of cash to allow me to use even a few seconds of the clip.
Here are a few more links to videos that were supplied by the RCMP/GRC:

Remember, this show is all volunteer. I hope you can help us out in making it stay on-air!
I once did a TV show in Istanbul with a small salary and a zero-production budget. Now, I have a TV show and although ShawTV is co-producing it with me, as you can see, I’m a volunteer/access producer. Which means, I now have no financial gain from doing this. I hope to find sponsors, that may or may not happen. So, it is always nice to know that you support and my hope is that in sharing the people that have a story to tell will make a difference.
With this said, I hope that you can consider making a small donation to the show. I hope that someday soon I can move the show, or create another one with a commercial broadcaster. I have a lot of stories to share and I hope that I can keep doing this. If you cannot help out financially, then all I need is for you to share and comment on the posts I make on my website.
