I love sharing a little humour occasionally. A smile not only is easy to do, the endorphins one releases is great for the body. So here’s a story of mine from Stienbach.
Having lived in Manitoba for a few years way back when, I learned about the Mennonite community out in Steinbach, Manitoba. It was a town well known for its car dealers, mennonite farmers sausage, and for me, an airstrip in the middle of their golf course. Having flown out there a few times, I can say it was fun. Especially because when you parked your plane and signed in a the airport office, they had a key rack where you could take one of the Cadillacs parked in the parking lot to go into town or what ever. It was always a fun place to visit.
If you want to know a little more about the place and the local culture, there is a great ‘onionesque’ web site called ‘the bonnet’. Here’s a sample of their news… Enjoy!
The site construction is moving forward and we are hoping to have the site open for business in the coming weeks.
Besides a new podcast, visitors will be able to purchase voice overs and books from our shop.
Look forward to the formal unveiling so please feel free to poke around and let us know what you like and don’t like.

Here’s a quote of mine. I just thought this one up…
“The reality of reality TV is that the reality of the viewer is their reality of watching reality TV.”
It was a cold day, but the sun came out. It was springtime in Istanbul. Looking back at this behind the scenes shoot. It was a hectic rush and lots of people and gear. The video was excellent, however, the audio never got to the camera. Thus an 18 hour day of filming interviews and stand-ups was lost.
Well, this experience taught me two things:
Yes, grown men cry, and two… always have your phone in your shirt pocket recording audio.
