Dreams and Reality

I woke up this morning after a rather profound dream. I was being insulted by someone at the table I was sitting at because I took a moment to check my phone when a message arrived. I responded with, “I’m sorry but with my current personal and financial situation I must check my messages often. If I do not, I may miss an opportunity to earn the income I need to survive.”, I continued, “If it is so bothersome, I can stop to appease you. However, in doing so, I will be one step closer to living in a cardboard box.”

Dreams are interesting aren’t they? I really dislike phones in social situations and this made me think about some situations…

COMING SOON: Major Changes

There has been a lot of change in my life the past while and also in my business plans for the future. My focus will be changing dramatically and in doing so, I will be changing my website from the ground up.

You can look forward to major updates and many more services that I will offer. From website design and hosting, to technical systems to help save the environment. There are even some new social media platforms I have developed and these will also come online in the very near future.

Lest We Forget

November 11 is a special day for me. As a teen, I was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. Most of my time was spent in the band. So we played at every Rememberance Day memorial in New Westminster.

It still reminds me of the emotion that the sound of of the bugler playing the last post. Here is a nice respectful version of it…

100 years later. Lest We Forget.

Favourite Places – Vancouver – Cafe Zen

I lived near Kits Beach for many years. Kitsilano is located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. It is a lovely community that is just minutes from the big city downtown hustle and bustle.

Across the street from where I lived a few years back, was a great little restaurant called Cafe Zen. I was a regular there. So being in Vancouver and having successfully avoided the ferry breakfast, I stopped in at my old “haunt”. I was happy to see that it still exists.

It hasn’t changed a bit. The food is still incredible and wonderful. Nice to see that some places never change. It always had great service (still does) and great quality (never had a bad meal there).

I had my breakfast, sat and enjoyed my tea, and wrote this post. Relaxed and looking forward to the rest of my day…

No matter how you look at it Cafe Zen is delicious!
