2017 So Far

I have to admit that I have some great people in my past, present, and future.

Reconnecting with old friends is wonderful. Making new friends is also special. Of course there are a few people who I’ve met briefly in my new city that I’m sure we’ll also become close.

So much water under the bridge in 2016 made it difficult to focus for me. An unknown health issue led to emergency surgery removed a nasty abscess from my cheek. This apparently zapped my energy for a long time. My excellent doctor friend and musical cohort, took care of that emergency within hours.

Setting up shop back in Canada, means a new home, a car, and all the things necessary to have a place to put my socks. Not an easy task when you have a life 10,000 km away too!

Voice overs, writing, renovations, and all that were put on top of my already busy schedule. No rest for the weary.

This year is a clean slate year for me. I hope it is for you too. I left the baggage that’s not mine on the carrousel. Where it can be picked up by those who actually owns it!

Best wishes to you and yours!

Boxing Day 2016

Such a nice day to sleep in, not feel rushed, and to maybe find a deal on something you really need that’s on sale.

So found a few household items and left the crowds buying big TV set in their line ups.

Eggnog and a nice fire in the wood stove makes the storm outside more romantic than ominous.

Bring on the new year I say! Best wishes for your 2017!
